Membership

For a nation to be admitted into NPPU, they must first contact the General of NPPU. The current incumbent general is Kenlygysztan. After a prospective member state contacts the general and asks for an application, the current member states of NPPU will hold a vote to decide whether or not the prospective member state may be admitted. If the vote is 75% or more in favor, a screening process will take place, in which the General of NPPU and any other member states will look into the micronational and macronational history of the prospective member state and their leaders.

If a prospective member state is rejected after the screening process, the general will write a rejection letter to the government of the rejected nation. In this rejection letter, there will be proof of why the nation was rejected and terms for possible acceptance in the future.

If a prospective member state is accepted after the screening process, the prospective member state will be sent a document explaining all the terms and conditions of being in NPPU and, if the prospective member state accepts, anyone who was involved in the decision will sign the document. This means that if it was voted on by any type of legislature, everyone who took part in voting must sign this document. The leader of the prospective member state must also sign, whether or not they were involved in the acceptance of the document.

Once a member state is accepted, they must contribute at least one thing from a list of options that was provided to them every year. Failure to comply with the contribution rules will result in a trial to decide whether to remove the member state or not, or possibly automatic removal, depending on the severity of the offense.

Meetings and bills

Meetings for NPPU will happen every 3 months, and will be held through a voice calling service. During these meetings, member states will have 1-5 delegates there to discuss the state of the alliance, what changes can be made to improve the alliance, among other things. Also in these meetings, there will be voting sessions to decide on new bills and policies for NPPU. These bills and policies can be proposed any time throughout the 3 month period before another meeting takes place. If a member state is unable to send delegates, a document about the meeting will be sent to the leader and legislative body of the nation. This document will contain a full, word to word, document detailing everything that was discussed in the meeting. This document will also contain a short summary of everything discussed, in case there is not enough time to read the document.

Contributions

Each member state has required contributions to NPPU, as well as optional ones. Each member state must fulfill every required contribution, and one optional contribution.

The list of contributions are as follows:

Required

Citizenship
  • Each member state must provide citizenship to the leader of every other member state.
  • If the member state decides, they may also provide citizenship to every government figure in each other member state. This is not required, and does not count as a contribution.
Time and effort
  • When a nation becomes a member state of NPPU and signs this document, they promise to serve NPPU and all other member states.
  • Meetings, voting sessions, and any other events that will take a member state’s time must be attended. These meetings will be coordinated and organized with member states in mind.

Optional

Manpower
  • The only exceptions are if the attacker is an ally, or if the member state that does not participate is in a crisis of some kind.
  • Only counts if the member state is actively contributing. When they are not contributing, they must contribute another option.
5 percent of their GPD
  • This will be used for the development of any member state as needed. These can be improvements to infrastructure, military, intelligence, etc.
  • For a member state to be given these finances for the purpose of improvements, they must contact the general.
Intelligence and Research
  • Intelligence can be about other nations and their developments. It can also be on other alliances.
    • If a member state refuses to give intelligence on another alliance or nation for any reason, they must give another contribution. Intelligence means all intelligence.
    • Each member state must also provide intelligence on your own nation, should a member state or the general ask for it.
  • Research can be any new technology or findings.
Land
  • This is only in the case of another member state having lost land during war or disaster. If none is provided by any member states, the General of NPPU must give up a portion of their nation’s land.
  • Same rules as manpower apply. Only counts if the member state is actively providing. If they are not able to contribute, they will have to contribute something else.
Peace, Order, and Law
  • Each member state agrees that, if their nation is not at peace, they will not rope NPPU into it. Any member state may join the conflict, but it is not a requirement to join the conflict if a nation is part of NPPU.
  • Each member state agrees that, if there is a rebellion in their nation, they will not rope NPPU into it. Any member state may join the conflict, but it is not a requirement to fight the rebellion if a nation is part of NPPU.
  • Each member state agrees that, if their government cannot enforce their laws properly, they will not rope NPPU into it. Any member state may help enforce the laws of fellow member states, but it is not a requirement to enforce law if a nation is part of NPPU.
