The Mormon Law is a series of anti-mormonist policies which were enacted in the Empire of Ela'r'oech on 20 March 2022 following a binding public referendum. There are policies which forbid members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, commonly known as Mormons, from marrying, public engagement, business transactions, flying the flag of Ela'r'oech - excluding realms - and even having their Elarian citizenship rights removed. These laws were later recanted due to a new constitution of the nation declaring previous laws null and void.
Text of the policies
"Mormons will be barred from the following;
- Marriage.
- Public engagement with other Elarians.
- Public transactions in business.
- Flying the flag of the Greater Elarian State and overall Empire of Ela’r’oech (exceptions being any other realms).
- They are no longer subject to Article 2 of the Constitution labeled 'Rights of the People.'
Disobeying any of these laws will result in the following;
- One violation results in house arrest for 24 hours.
- Two violations result in house arrest for 1 week.
- Three violations result in house arrest for 1 month.
- Four violations result in deportation if one lives in any Elarian territories. If they do not live in any Elarian territories, four violations result in immediate removal of citizenship.
- Five violations will result in immediate removal of citizenship."
