The Moo-Cowville War was a military conflict fought between the young Kingdom of Herzetia and Moo-Cowville. Though the exact dates and duration of the war are largely unknown, it most likely took place in the late spring or summer of 2018.

History

Shortly after the creation of the Kingdom of Herzetia, the king, A.Y, most likely told his younger brother, R.Y, about his micronation, sparking the younger sibling's short-lived interest in micronationalism. Thus, the nation of Moo-Cowville was created, with R.Y as its leader. War quickly broke out over either over territorial claims, or as a result of boredom. It is unknown who declared war on who first. After the stalemate at the Grasslands, A.Y and R.Y agreed to a peace, though no official document ever existed for this purpose.

The Battle of the Grasslands

Following the outbreak of the war, A.Y and R.Y agreed to settle the conflict on a nearby football field, now known to Herzetians as the Grasslands National Military Park. The field was flat and open, perfect for a fair land battle. The date of the battle is lost to time, but A.Y recalls it being sunny and warm, so it was most likely in the late spring or summer. The Herzetian and Moo-Cowvillan armies, which consisted of their leaders, armed with Nerf and water guns, met across the field from one another. The battle lasted around 15–20 minutes, mostly consisting of the brothers running around the field, shooting at each other with water or darts. Towards the end, it became clear that victory was not coming for either side, so both forces retreated from the field. The war would come to an end shortly after, but rather informally, without a peace treaty signed; it was agreed between the brothers that conflict was pointless.
