The Republic of Mishi Pawi Tig (it means Great Falls Place or Great Rapids Place in Ojibway Language) is a large area of land in north-central Montana, western Montana, southwest Montana, extreme east Idaho and extreme northwest Wyoming where Yellowstone National Park is. Pawi Tig refers to the 5 waterfalls of the Missouri River or Great Falls of the Missouri River. It must be named the Great Falls of the Mississippi River. Read further below! A longer name to use is Misi Pawi Tig which means Great Falls Place. It's also written as Mishi Pawi Tig. It was set aside as a part of the original Blackfeet Reservation which was set aside on October 17, 1855. They have no proof of any land cessions of this part of Blackfeet Reservation. They need treaty text confirming the land was ceded and the names of the leaders that ceded the Reservation land. Since American leaders can't provide such confirmation, it means it remains unceded Reservation land. It's chief Rocky Boy's Reservation. He was very much at home throughout his Reservation. The first mention of chief Rocky Boy in the press is from 1901. He was living south of Anaconda and Butte in 1901. In 1902, after reaching agreements with President Roosevelt, chief Rocky Boy returned to his home at Great Falls. After reaching Great Falls, chief Rocky Boy was possibly the highest-ranking Ojibway leader. Schools for the children of his Ojibway Subjects were located at St. Peters Mission and Fort Shaw Industrial Indian School. Both schools were located very close to each other. St. Peters Mission was located south of Fort Shaw by 15 to 20 miles. Pertaining to the boundaries is almost impossible. Hell Gate is located almost adjacent to Missoula, Montana which means we will have to include Flathead Reservation. There's another Hell Gate located near Helena. The Main Divide or Continental Divide of the Rocky Mountains is the Rocky Mountain Trench which extends through Flathead Reservation. Another discrepancy is waterways. Headwaters of the Mississippi River is located in southwest Montana. Mississippi River is the 4th longest river on earth. The only way the Mississippi River can be the 4th longest river on earth is by claiming all of the headwaters of the Mississippi River to its mouth at the Gulf of Mexico, which is the Mississippi River. They won't do it because of all the treaties the United States reached with Ojibway leaders.
