Millind is a micronation located in Canada and was formed in 2019. It is divided into three provinces and one autonomous territory. MIllind is a constitutional monarchy the Millinsh constitution setting the rights and freedoms of its citizens and the way the government is to run
Etymology
The name “Millind” was chosen randomly and with no other reason other than the first King of Millind liked the name
History
History of Government
In June of 2019 the idea for Millind was created by Matthew l but remand inactive until early 2020 when the government structure of Millind was first drawn up and the structure was complicated and hard to understand but in May of 2021 the government structure of Millind became similar to what it is today with the exception that there was no House of Commons. at an undocumented time between 2022 to early 2023 the house of commons was added to the government.
Military history
The Millish Armed forces are as old as Millind and were underdeveloped for most of its history until April 2020. In April of 2020 two micronations named Conland and Syrentania jointly assaulted a millish expeditionary force attempting to deliver materials to a Conland city. Millish Imperials
The Millish imperials of which there are three, are important to Millinds government as each one of them is in charge of one of three important things which are as follows, the economy, the military, and law and order. The imperial in charge of the economy is called the imperial of the econamy, the imperial in charge of the military is called the imperial of the military, and the imperial of law and order. Each of the imperials are directly below the reigning monarch of Millind in terms of responsibility and the imperials are chosen by the reigning monarch.
Responsibilities and powers of the Millish imperials
The Millish imperials are directly below the reigning monarch in terms of responsibilities and each imperial has their own ministries with the exception of the imperial of the military. The minister of the Econamy is in charge of the ministry of finance, the ministry of industry, and the ministry of resources. The imperial of law and order is in charge of the ministry of justice and the ministry of enforcement.
Powers of the Millish imperials
The Millish imperial's power is given to them through the Millish constitution and the Millish emergency act.
Ministers in the Millish government: The ministers are the Finance Minister, Minister of Resources, Minister of Industry, Minister of Justice, Minister of Enforcement, Minister of Health and Safety, Minister of Education, the Minister of the Army and finally Minister of the Navy. now, that is a lot of Ministers and they can't all be simply looked after and a small micronation can't keep them under control. Now, these eight ministers there is something in common, two or more ministers may work towards sustaining one part of the government because of this the Millish emperor appointed people to look over these ministers and keep them in check along with overseeing said part of the government. The parts of government that were most important were selected to have an imperial that would oversee the ministers are as follows: Judicial, Economics and military. The ministers that have an imperial supervising them are: The Ministers of finance, resources and Industry are supervised by the Imperial in charge of the Economy. the Ministers of Justice and enforcement are supervised by the Imperial of Law and order. The Ministers of the Army And navy are supervised by the Imperial of the Military. Meanwhile, the Minister of Health and Safety and the Minister of Education are supervised by the reigning monarch.
Regional Government and representatives
Millind has three regions which are Contelin, Gulliamo, and Rampersad. The first region, Contelin (Millish for country land), has no major features besides it is the region where the capital resigns and lots of name changes really only three tho. These are Mallind (2019–2021), Vijf Metalen (2021-2021), and finally Contelin (2021–present). For the rest of the regions, there is a trend of them being named after the Imperials. These regions are Gulliamo and Rampersad. The second region, Gulliamo has a very bland history with it only being formed in 2021 it has no major history. The third region Rampersad was also created around the same time as Gulliamo and thus has no major history.
Law and order
Imperial of Law and Order is in charge of supervising the Ministers of justice and enforcement along with ensuring that the ministers have the supplies and funding to work properly and safely. As an Imperial, the Imperial of law and order take part in the Imperial assembly to ensure that Law and Order in the nation is ensured with each decision made within the Imperial Assembly. The imperial of law and order like all of the other imperials may, if necessary along with permission from the emperor overrule or even remove there ministers from office. A major problem with this is that until the next election the imperial takes said minister(s) position of power while retaining their responsibilities as an imperial. the emperor has never granted this and it has never been asked why you may ask? Well, there is a lack of manpower in the nation resulting in a lack of ministers. The other reason is if there were ministers removing them could cause distrust in the citizens of the nation.
Military
The Imperial of the Armed Forces
The Imperial of the Armed Forces, Noah Gulliamo is in charge of overseeing the Ministers of the Army and Navy and ensuring that they have the supplies and funding to work properly. Like all imperials, the imperial of the armed forces takes part in the Imperial Assemblies sessions and explains how each decision might effect the armed forces before casting his vote. In terms of combat, the Millish army has never fought a single battle as Millinds only war happened without any combat.
On June 4, 2021 all funding was cut from the military to stabilize the Economy.
Economy
Millind's Economy used to rely on its metal industry mainly metals such as bronze(scrap), copper(also scrap) and tin. Just kidding not tin it's worthless, but, it is good for smelting because of this(but still worthless so thus there are no tin coins). now Back to selling scrap. This system was supposed to work by the three Rs, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Any metal that is recycled is collected and sold as scrap metal and the money made is divided and half goes to supplying the metal industry with better metals of which a small portion goes to reserves in the event of economical crises. The rest of the metal goes towards, well, anything to be exact infrastructure the military the economy again such as trade(there is currently no trade) etc. The problem with this is that scrap metal companies buy in bulk so the Millish government just keeps the metal and in turn uses copper in its treasury to make coins using the copper standard made from nickel. Due to Covid the Economy was in ruins following the Seven months of war and is running low on everything, but things got better when the economy started to get extra funding getting better and the economy began to recover.
As of now the government still relies on its metal industry but instead of selling it (unless the government has enough) uses the copper standard to make coins made of nickel (commemorative coins are made of bronze). These coins are made equivalent in value to the Canadien dollar so that it retains value.
Geography and climate
Weather for Millind is the same as the Great Lake temperatures with the highest temperature being 40 degrees in recent years and the coldest being minus 20 degrees
