The Mewlandian Dollar (code: MLD), is the official currency of the Kingdom of Mewland. The Mewlandian dollar is subdivided into 100 cents.

The symbol for the Mewlandian dollar is M$ and the code for the Mewlandian dollar is MLD.

The M$ is pegged to the United States to a rate of: US$0.18 = M$1 or US$1 = M$5.55555556

Units

The M$ is subdivided into 100 cents. Currently the cents are only used in business format.

Coins

No coins are circulating in the Kingdom, since coins are harder to mint than printing banknotes.

Banknotes

The banknotes that are published on 30 July 2022 are the M$5, M$10 and M$20 and the other denominations will be published in the following months. Currently the banknotes are not printed as said by the BOML, The banknote will be printed within the 6-month period and the designs used might be altered to slightly changed by the version proposed on this month. The KOML’s currency has a security features in M$10 Banknote and all upper values that is the UV Ink, The banknote has random flecks of Ultraviolet ink in the Banknote, It is made to protect counterfeit banknotes in circulation.

2.5 x 6 Red, Green and Blue On the obverse, there is a bird symbolizing peance and the red stars behind the bird symbolizes cooperation of micronations. Below the birds are the earth also symbolizing cooperation of micronations, on the right of the planes symbolizing travelling. On the reverse, are hogwarts on a book. The M$5 is printed within Mewland, while the rest of the paper is printed in Thailand.
