Meritian National Highway 1, or Meritian Hwy 1 is a major highway of the Empire of Meritia. Created long before the establishment of Meritia as a soveriegn state, the route is the oldest of established incorperated roads in Meritia, and since the days of Northio has provided the mainland with access to vehicular transportation throughout all major Provinces. As a heavily wooded nation, this road system is vital to allow for easy movement of motor vehicles in the country, without any rough terrain or foliage in their way.
