The national anthem of Macawainia is called "old wings of freedom" and was first sung in 2017 as part of the independence war effort to discourage the enemy from attacking.

Lyrics

"Oh great feathers! Feathers in the air! How you lead us through! Through this wrong affair! Through life, we still tread! We tread until the end! We do not stop! For stopping is a sign, we are not worthy enough, we will not rest until we are truly away from the corrupt! We will start on our own! and today we still fight! We are Macawainians, and what was once a part, is now a whole. Let our flag fly high in the sky. But we too will fly, so our flag may not die, for we don't die, we become stories, like those old wings of glory, those old wings of freedom!"(2x) *verse 2 begin* "We do not stop, we do not drop, from air like weaklings, we stay in the sky up above, all the time, we keep fighting through the night! May the strong stay alive and the citizens protected, take them under our wing! For without it's people, a country is nothing, to keep on going without." *verse 3 begin* " Today, after the war is gone, today, after the blood was drawn, today, after the blood sweat and tears (prolong "tears"). We will rise, out of the rubble, and stay after the ruffle (ruffle meaning hardship) we will build our society up! we will stay, we will keep, we will stay we will not sleep, until the U.D.O.M is here. We won't stop until we have achieved, our right, to remain free." (end of song) [1]
