Kvitoya is an unincorporated territory of Crownton, it has 1 citizen and has very few tourists. It is located in the Arctic circle near Russia and has little life. Despite its size, Ranel has developed many rules for any citizen. Kvitoya was claimed by Crownton on July 20, 2021. When it was claimed, it was originally owned by Ranel Lopez, but then Ranel wanted to give Deven the chance to own something so he gave Deven the right to control the territory, but still, Ranel could take that opportunity away.
History
Pre-Creation
On July 18, Crownton was in development Ranel thought of claiming land in Antarctica, but then he thought of claiming something more northern. He first thought of Long Island in New York, then other islands and then lastly settled on an island in the Arctic. Ranel looked for many tiny islands in the North Pole, most of them in Russia, he then looked for small islands between Russia and Alaska, but they were all claimed then he ended searching for the day.
Establishment
On July 20 in the afternoon, Ranel found Kvitoya, a small island in the Arctic he knew that it was perfect. Ranel claimed Kvitoya as a state in Crownton and thought of changing it as the capital because it was much bigger than Machias Seal Island, but then scrapped the idea. Ranel also changed Kvitoya into Kvitoa.
Deven Influence
On July 20, Ranel wanted Deven to have the opportunity of control so he gave Deven ownership of Kvitoya. Deven changed the laws. Deven also changed the country back to Kvitoya because he wanted to keep the traditional name. He also gave the country a national animal, the polar bear. He made the capital, changed the time zone, made the motto and created the capital.

Rules & Laws
Rules
Despite Kvitoya being a small island, it is still a huge part of Crownton, being bigger than mainland Crownton. Deven Wilkins has also gained power and is the one who controls the island, he has made multiple rules. Some rules of Kvitoya is no murder, no stealing, no killing polar bears, don't feed the wildlife and many more.
Citizen Ranks
Citizens of Kvitoya (besides Deven) are not considered Crownton citizens, but instead Crownton nationalists. Crownton nationalists can't vote for presidents or become president unless one of their parents is a citizen. If a Kvitoya nationalist wants to become a Crownton citizen they will have to stay in mainland Crownton for 3 months and take some shots. If a Kvitoya nationalist wants to become the president of Crownton, they'll have to take additional shots and live in Crownton for a year.
