The Kingdom of Ethusia is a Micronation situated in North America. Ethusia was founded November 9 2023 after His Majesty King Alexander made the decision to dissolve Utopia and form ethusia in its stead.
The Constitution of the Kingdom of Ethusia was adopted and ratified by His Majesty on November 9 2023.
Etymology
The name “Ethusia” finds its roots in the enduring principles and values that shape the nation, reflecting a commitment to justice and unity.
History
The Kingdom of Ethusia (Formerly known as the Kingdom of Utopia) was Founded August 3 2023 by His Majesty King Alexander (Formerly King Elijah) after the dissolution of the Kingdom of Great Esteria where the Legislature decided to remove His Majesty from the throne. His Majesty then formed the Kingdom of Utopia which on November 9 2023 became the Kingdom of Ethusia.
Politics and Government
The Kingdom of Ethusia is a Constitutional Monarchy with King as The Head of State and The Governor General as The Head of Government.
The Parliament of Ethusia is a Bicameral legislature consisting of two Houses: The Chamber of Peers and The Chamber of Deputies. The Chamber of Peers is the upper house and is governed by the Lord Paramount of the Peers. The Chamber of Peers is responsible for the creation of legislation and acts of parliament, members of the Chamber of Peers are appointed by the Monarch. The lower house is the Chamber of Deputies. The Chamber of Deputies are responsible for the review and amendment of legislation proposed by the Chamber of Peers, Members of the Chamber of Deputies are elected by the people and represents the voice of the people. Upon approval by both chambers of Parliament, legislation is sent to the Monarch for final consideration, the monarch can either choose to approve of the legislation or veto the legislation sending it back to parliament.
The Government (Cabinet) of Ethusia is Lead by the Governor General who is the [Head of Government]. The Cabinet is responsible for the Day to Day administration of the kingdom. The Cabinet consists of the:
