Star, officially the Kingdom of Star, is a online sovereign country. It lies on the internet as a social networking service.
The Kingdom of Star is an absolute monarchy with a parliamentary government. The monarch is Bozkurt, who has reigned since 10 July 2017. The country is often considered the "Rainbow Nation" to describe Star's multicultural diversity. The government system is similarly modelled on the Westminster parliamentary system and the legal system is based on common law. The online nation is a multiethnic society encompassing a wide variety of cultures, languages, and religions. Its pluralistic makeup is reflected in the constitution's recognition of freedom of identity. Two languages spoken are of European origin: English is commonly used in public and commercial life, although Dutch is sometimes spoken as the native tongue by Starians. The Kingdom of Star is one of the few countries in the word never to have had a coup d'état under an absolute monarchy, and regular elections have been held since the establishment of the country.

Government and politics
Monarchy
Star is an absolute monarchy with constitutional provisions and Star Law and customs. The head of state is the King, currently King Bozkurt, who ascended to the throne in 2017 after the proclamation of the national foundation. According to the constitution of Star, the King is a symbol of unity and the eternity of the Star nation.
The monarch appoints the prime minister from the legislature and also appoints a minority of legislators to the Parliament. The king is allowed by the constitution to appoint some members to parliament for special interests. These special interests are citizens who might have been left out by the electorate during the course of elections or did not enter as candidates. This is done to balance views in parliament.
Parliament
The Parliament serves as the legislative branch of the government. Members of Parliament (MPs) consist of elected, non-constituency and nominated members. Elected MPs are voted into the Parliament on a "online voting" (plurality) basis and represent either single-member or group representation constituencies.
Law
The legal system of Star is based on English common law, but with substantial differences. Star has penalties that include punishment in the form of mute (remove right of speech) and ban (exile), which may be imposed for such offences as abuse, hate crime, vandalism, abuse-of-rights and advertising a foreign social networking services.
