Kothellond is a state of the Tsardom of Nolland | |
Kothellond, officially the Kingdom of Kothellond, is a state of the Tsardom of Nolland. Despite the Tsardom being quite a centralised entity, Kothellond has its own Parliament, and is ruled jointly by HNM King Richard I, and a Governor position which is currently vacant. Kothellond is currently trying to establish a distinct regional culture of its own within the Nollandish cultural edifice.
Government
The government is divided between the King, who may pass minor laws by decree, and the Kothellondish Parliament, which is headed by the Governor. Both the King and the Parliament must adhere to Nollandish law however. As such, the powers of the Parliament is limited to cultural laws and suchlike, without threatening the Nollandish government.
