The Kingdom of Dorset was a micronation that claimed 1950² of land in southern Britain, including the territories of Corfe Mullen, Poole and Bournemouth. The Kingdom was inhabited by 9 people at its peak, and officially held 45 citizens who had registered online.

The Kingdom of Dorset was a constitutional and parliamentary monarchy, with a parliament consisting of 10 democratically elected individuals from across the Kingdom, as well as the King and Prime Minister. Every Sunday, the parliament met in Bournemouth, making decisions regarding law and order within the nation. Additionally, those members of parliament were elected every 3 months, and could serve infinite terms so long as they continued to receive the amount of votes required. Additionally, the nation had its own supreme decision-making body in the form of a cabinet of government ministers.

History

Background

The Kingdom of Dorset was established by King Owen I on the 19th of March 2020, after he considered his patriotism for his county and ancestry, and thus used his land to establish a micronation, also receiving donations of land from his Prime Minister, Jimmy Bobson. It was short-lived, however, and was disbanded only a few months after its creation, and later replaced with the Duchy of Dorset.
