Kaoss in the Dark was first stand-alone single by Scott Harwood. The album is distributed on the Shedpop label, and was released during October 2010.
Production
Kaoss in the Dark was the first piece of music created by Scott Harwood that was actually recorded on Taigh a Bata territory. The fact that it was called 'Kaoss in the Dark' was because it was recorded in pitch-darkness.
Styling
Like the albums before, Kaoss in the Dark develops on the Kraftwerk/Tangerine Dream/Steve Reich fusion. It also re-captures many of the effects and sounds used in the first two albums, notably the sitars near the end of the track (a reference to the track 'An Indian in Berlin). Harwood's music is said to have started developing into its own unique style at this point, as more features of the Kaossilator were discovered by Harwood.
