Imvrassian Province

An Imvrassian Province is one of the two main subdivisions territorial and administrative unit of Imvrassia.
There is at least one residence, the capital of the administrative unit and there may be other administrative subdivisions.
Each Province is generally governed by citizens with the title of Count or Protosebastos.
The ruler of a Province is called Eponynous Archon and his immediate assistant and deputy has the office of Chartoularios.
A Province can be divided into Arhonties and its Eponymous Archon can appoint to each Theme an Archon. The Province usually has a house and land, while the Themes can be either a house or a territory without population.
