Crascia, officially the Imperial State Of Crascia is a microstate located in Australia. It is an Imperial Tricameral Legislative Monarchy, that grants constitutional power through three separate parliamentary houses. Crascia is an unrecognised sovereign entity with an unofficial claim to a small enclave of territory within Australia.
Influence
Crascia has drawn large influence from European culture. Large sources of influence toward cultural practices and aesthetics range from that of English, French and Hellenic. The Monarchy, is heavily influenced and inspired by the aristocratic courts used by the Romans and the Byzantines, as well as the peerage systems used in the United Kingdom and formerly France.
History
See: History of Crascia
The origins and formation of Crascia is somewhat considered to be a very turbulent period in the microstates history. The first iteration of an independent Crascian state came from the establishment of The Kingdom of Crascia on the 1st of June 2018. The first kingdom was structured as an absolute monarchy, in which rule by decree was enforced. Shortly after the initial establishment on the 1st July 2018, a new government was formed. This period is referred as the second kingdom. This government was also an absolute monarchy in which no form of a constitution or parliament existed. On the 28th of July 2018, the monarchy was abolished. The very short-lived People’s Republic of Crascia was then hence established on the 28th of July 2018, and dissolved just two days later.
As a continuation of the ruling House of Crascia, The Kingdom of Crascia was re-founded on the 30th July 2018. This period is known historically as the third kingdom. Initially an absolute monarchy where rule by decree was enforced, the original Parliament of Crascia was established on the 15th September 2018, hence establishing the office of Prime Minister, and creating the first parliamentary council. This government lasted through until the 20th October 2018 in which the title of Kingdom of Crascia, was subsequently changed to the Principality of Crascia. The office of Prime Minister was abolished during this time, however Parliament still functioned under the parliamentary council.
On the 7th of November 2018, the title was reverted back to the Kingdom of Crascia, commencing what is considered to be the era of the fourth kingdom. The revised Kingdom Of Crascia then lasted through until February 2019, in which a new revised Unicameral Imperial Monarchy was created, hence creating what was known as The Empire of Crascia. This would last through until August 2019, in which the Imperial State of Crascia, was established. The government of the new Imperial State was revised on the 29th of April 2020, with the addition of two new parliamentary houses. This marked the formation of the Peerage of Crascia, as well as the granting of new administrative offices for subdivisions. These two new houses with the addition of the original council now referred to as the Imperial Council, form Crascia's modern day tricameral Parliament.
Politics & Geography
Administrative Divisions
Crascia is currently divided into five provinces. Each province is representative of a city within the realm, and they are cooperatively governed by the Lord Mayor and the holder of the corresponding Dukedom. The title of Duke, through Crascias peerage system can only be granted by the Emperor and provide seats to the House of Aristocrats. The Lord Mayors of each respective holding are assigned by the Imperial Council, and make up the seats for the House of the Senate. The Province of Gytheia remains the seat of the state and the home of the Emperor. The Emperor has absolute control over the Province of Gytheia, occupying both the Dukedom, and position of Lord Mayor.

This system of parliament allows for a three-step review process in law-making. There are no political parties in Crascia, as the state is run with what is essentially absolute power by the Emperor.
