Honor the Republic
Honor the Republic (Balzian: Onora dos Republika; Filipino: Pagpupugay sa Republika) is the national motto of the Republic of Balzi. Adopted through Executive Order No. 19 on September 14, 2024, the motto embodies the values of respect and commitment to the Republic.[1] The adoption of the motto aims to promote national pride and unity among Balzians.
Adoption and Context
The motto "Honor the Republic" began appearing in Balzi from March 2023, initially used informally by President Carl Miguel Salgado Victa. It was only officially adopted on September 14, 2024, through Executive Order No. 20. This order not only declared the motto but also introduced the National Pledge to the Flag and to the Republic of Balzi. The inclusion of this motto in official documents and national symbols reflects the Republic's dedication to fostering a collective identity and purpose among its citizens.
