The Community of Gorthia (Slav-Gorthian: Goveyis hromada Mersiys konfederatsiyi), commonly referred to as Gorthia, is a micronation located mainly in Northamptonshire, United Kingdom. It was founded on 5 July 2021 by Velychnist Czuk II, who serves as the micronation's first Dynast, It was Incorporated into the Mercian Confederacy on the 28th of april 2024.
History
The Community of Gorthia was once known as the Federal Dynasty of Gorthia and then The United Kingdom of Gorthia. After the micronation became stagnant and irrelevant. The royal family announced that Gorthia will either be dissolved or given to another person. a few days later, many Gorthians that didn't want to see Gorthia leave started 'The Project' and agreed on creating a new micronation uniting many previous states of Gorthia and finding new territory. This new micronation is called the Mercian Confederacy.
