Democratic Republic of Gaming With Lit, also known as GWL Free Republic (GFR) is a micronation located in Southeast Asia

History

The Great War of Independence

The GWL Democratic Republic was founded in February 1, 2019 immediately after the GWL Civil war. The Victory was led by Vaughn Keith, a revolutionary and a musician who overthrew the VK Dynasty and forced members and loyalists to flee or get imprisoned.

Benusian Crisis

When GFR was preparing its military expansion, Benusia ha elected a new King which is the opposite of Vashamat's Personality. He ordered Vashamat to send threats and propaganda for anti gfr and GFR responded to declare war against Benusia

Litho-Benusian War

After GFR declared war against benusia, GFR moves its troops to Korginia, which is GFR's closest allied country in Europe. Further on, Benusia bombed a base in northern GFR, killing 20 personnel and 5 injured. GFR invades Benusia but when GWL forces reached Tallinn, it had a wild fight and they were forced to retreat or surrender outnumbering the GWL 4th Division Regiment from 21 to 46

After GFR lost the war, they surrendered and establish Benusian East Indies, which is before was GFR's Territory and their greatest extent. But later on, the Benusian East Indies was abolished and GFR cuts down diplomatic ties with Benusia.

GWL Communicational Crisis

In January 26, 2022, GFR's communication lines was attacked by unknown attackers on their Official Discord Server. The GWL Central Committee of Intelligence remain questionable after the GWL Land Forces- Electronic Warfare Division's radar did not detect who did it.

2022 GWL Constitutional Crisis

Day One

After GFR allegedly pledged allegiance to Russia during the Invasion of Ukraine, Citzens from around the country ordered a nonviolent revolution and protested in the gates of the GWL Laborers' Party Congress. These resulted later into a violent conflict as military forces tried to suppress any violent acts but unfortunately, it was too late and people raided the congress and forced its members to flee.

Day Two

24 hours after the raid of the Congress, The Vice General Secretary was held in a house arrest, replacing it with the new ruler, The GWL Democratic People's Party. After the event, President Vaughn Keith fully implemented the new 2022 Constitution. It was later ratified by both the leader and the vice secretary general.

Dissolution of the GWL Laborers' Party

The President Later Announce that due to the incident and mass criticism of the people and media, the nation was on a political transition from Communist to a much less repressive, a Socialist State and later that same day, the GWL Laborers' Party dissolved, replacing it by the new GWL Democratic People's Party

April Revolution

In late March 2022, a newly elected vice president of GFR named Nova was acting like a dictator. He purged the senate members and exiled traitors. In April 8, 2022 The GWL Government had enough of him. With the help of the GWL People's Volunteer Army and the National Liberation Front, they have successfully deposed him out of office

The GWL Democratic Republic is a One-Party Democratic Socialist Republic that is ruled by a President

Executive

Despite GFR is a republic, The President has life tenure, which they have the supreme rule of the nation unless they die, retire or resign.

The President is the Head of the State and the Government. The Vice President helps the President do reforms and other related activities. They will also succeed if the president dies while in office. However when the president resigns or retire, they are required to run for elections.

During Inauguration, the outcoming Vice President will read the oath to the state to the incoming Vice President. In some cases, the president will instead read when there is no predecessor. This was done after the 2022 GWL Snap Elections when germanyball was elected and the president itself read the oath. The President has the power to veto, which is the rejection of bills created by the legislative body.

Legislative

GFR has the senate, which seats for 20 people. The Senate President is responsible to the senate. Senators have a 6 month term, which the old one wil be replaced by new once every 3 months. The main purpose of the senate is to conduct law making and approval of bills before being given to the president.

Judiciary

Under the 3 bodies of the governments, the Executive, which is the Highest and Judiciary, the lowest. GFR's highest court is the Supreme Court, which is ruled by the Chief Justice.

Lithesians are well known for vibing at house, techno and hardcore music. The President of GFR was known for recreating disco, house and techno tracks

Media

GFR has a state owned media called the GWL Central Television. Before the April Revolution, GFR only displayed state controlled media but after the resolution, the media has returned and press freedom became less strict. Lithesians have freedom of speech and opinion. However, pornography was strictly controlled. Gore and extreme porn is banned in GFR but hentai, which is anime pornography is also strictly controlled.

Food

The founder of GFR,Vaughn Keith, is well known for eating a lot of food. GFR's National dish is sinigang, which is a Filipino stew made of tamarind extract, vegetables and meat. Many lithesians love instant noodles, which is sometimes a staple dish including rice.
