Frydiligur (/frədɪlɪgɛr/) was a short-lived self-declared sovereign state, which was originally supposed to be a project. It was located primarily in North America, with an overseas territory in the Faroe Islands. It shared its only land borders with the United States and did not border the Faroes due to its claims over a single island. Its capital city Hýland was Frydiligur’s largest city, cultural, and economic centre.
