Fox Valley Line

The Fox Valley Line is a predominantly double-track commuter rail line running between Fox Valley and Clinton, in the Republic of Fishing Trail. The line is operated by the House Hold Rail Road (HHRR) under a working agreement with the government of Fishing Trail.

Since September 2021, HHRR has began a substantial track project. This will make the line 100% N-Scale by Mid-October 2021. The Fox Valley Line will be HHRR's only N-Scale Line with all others being HO Scale.

Description

Fox Valley Line trains start at Fox Valley. Most of the Fox Valley Line trains then go to Clinton, running non-stop or making one stop at Westly.

Trackage

Staring in October 2021 the line will change over to be 100% N-Scale. A proposal to have one HO backup track was voted down 13-4 in the local parliament.

Rolling stock

All trains on the Fox Valley Line are push-pulled by diesel locomotives, with locomotives normally facing east. The locomotives used on the line are MPI MP36PHs. Coach cars on the line are Nippon Sharyo Gallery Bi-Levels and Comet Cars.
