The Fourth Fesmarian Empire, is a micronation located within the geographical area of Cornwall. The Empire is comprised of regions who are lead by Senates, every Senator represents an amount of people to the senate of the region, at the head of Senate there is a Senate head who reports everything in the Emperors Council.
Every region has a prince, the prince can represent laws to the senate but can do nothing else inside the region, every prince also has one seat inside the Emperors council.
The creation of the Fourth Empire
The Empire's foundations were laid during the Second Hayle Conference, it was proposed by Emperor John I.
At first there was doubt amongst the attendees but because of the charms of the Emperor they agreed upon creating the great empire that we call home.
History of Cornish Kingdoms
Kingdom of Kingsand
The Kingdom of Kingsand(now the principality of Saxony) was created on the 21st of March 2016 by John I for fun, the Kingdom of Kingsand at its height comprised of 12 citizens.
Early Fesmar
Starting in march 2018, the Fesmarian state officially left the united kingdom and became a sovereign nation state, this was the first incarnation of Fesmar known as the Fesmar Republic however this soon became a communist dictatorship known as the Fesmarian Socialist Republic.
Socialist Republic-Current State
The socialist republic won multiple wars but made more enemies then it expected, the First Speentown and Spingleton republic and their armies were destroyed in these early wars. since the enemies made by the socialists out weighed the few allies the people decided to rebel and defeat the oppressing communist government, this became known as the restoration and the people could live free under the monarch king lewis II.The first Fesmarian empire would find itself in a large conflict, these wars became known as the continuation wars. Due to the Fesmarian lack of cyber protection the empire was defeated, humiliated Fesmar signed a treaty to form the Cornovii Theocracy soon this would collapse with the New nationalist government, Fesmar was soon indoctrinated under the rule of a fascist dictator, this man would remove the monarchy, and adopt the name that the emperor has been using to maintain some power in the Fesmarian lands.
Second Kingdom of Fesmar
After a short amount of time a civil war broke out between the monarchist and nationalist armies. King Lewis II led an army of 20 brave men against the nationalist mob, after two months of heavy combat, where five men were wounded and thirteen surrendered to the monarchists, the king recaptured the capital building and banned the peoples cornovii party, these actions despite removing a fascist totalitarian government would later cause constant rebellions, most recently a small group of thanes have rebelled, 4 out of the 6 original thanes have remained loyal After this rebellion ended the then king Lewis II declared himself absolute ruler and emperor of Fesmar, in the process of transition from republic to empire the imperial parliament was abolished and replaced with the royal court.
The Golden age and its end
After the constant rebellions, the emperor began to stabilize the empires holdings and begin the first expansion since the continuation wars, this expansion would see the annexation of Falmouth and Wadebridge into the Empire, this golden age would end in march 2019 lasting only three months. The golden age saw the first use of discord for communications between imperial government members and citizens. Other notable achievements of the golden age was the equality act, this act prevented the maintained oppression of rights for the LGBT community in the Empire. The equality act was the final act passed before the collapse of the Fesmarian empire.
The Empire would officially lose its first region in march of 2019, shortly after celebrating independence day and signing day. The first region to leave was Senshi, which saw a balance of power shift so drastic that it caused the leadership of Fesmar to enter a state of denial at the collapse. After Senshi, the whole nation collapsed forming into the short-lived city of Dreme. Dreme would then reform into the Anglo-Belgian empire as the leadership of Fesmar desperately tried to hold onto the two remaining regions. The Anglo-Belgian empire would collapse after a near civil war for the title of emperor. Fesmar would rise out of the ashes but lose Stormhold in the process, Stormhold would be the last external region in Cornwall and thus expose the capital of Penzance. Soon after Belgica would breakaway. Belgica was the over seas lands of Fesmar, administered originally as the principality of Kjorburg. Belgica would be the final region to exit the Fesmarian state. Fesmar would later end up splitting into the Online led by the former emperor and the real life republic.
Fesmar in late 2019
Fesmar would spend its existence changing government and collapsing on a near weekly basis, this was due in part to Kenneth's defeatist attitudes and desperate attempts at grabbing attention. The Second Republic would spend most of it's existence in isolation, without the former Emperor and a lot of the former government, during this period the nation stagnated and lost the population gain seen in the previous year. Later the republic would elect the former Emperor Lewis II back under the new name Kenneth Chapman-Fydtroust. As leader Kenneth proceeded to enact many reforms that brought the nation out of stagnation, later it would open up to the Discord community and merge with the Online Fesmar, many refused to accept the reasoning given for the difference in nations, as it currently is post March crisis Fesmar has restored Kenneth as Emperor, crowning him Kenneth III. In May 2020, Fesmar created a union with Belgica to form the Fesmarian-Belgican Empire. This Empire didn't last very long however, as Belgica gained independence as Groot-Brabant. Fesmar then started to decline further, eventually leading to Kenneth's abdication due to personal issues. Fesmar was dissolved shortly afterwards because of a rebel group (with old members of the IFA) and Ainsworth controlling most of the former Fesmarian lands.
The splitting of Fesmar
After the collapse of Fesmar-Belgica there was extended unrest in the regions comprising Fesmar. Within days of the June Revolution the entirety of Fesmar was split amongst three competing governments, in the west was the Fesmarian Commonwealth ran by Roadrunner, the Commonwealth was renamed Stormhold shortly after, in the centre was the Fesmarian Democratic Republic ran by the former monarch and in the east Fesmar-Ainsworth ran by Fynley who was a former officer in the IFA. These three governments entered into agreement to prevent civil conflict, Revolutionary forces have stepped down and the entire region has become a hotbed of tensions. It was unlikely that a reunification could have happend any time soon.
Transition to Monarchy in Fesmar
On the 13th June 2020, Kenneth was crowned Kenneth I after reciting the Royal Vow. This new state became the Kingdom(Rylem) of Fesmar.
A time of instability
The Kingdom of Fesmar did not last long without the newly crowned king becoming anxious and paranoid because of the collapse of his empire. A coup happend in the Kingdom of Fesmar on the 18th of July carried out by Ann mark(the previous chancellor his niece), Kenneth was put in place still as Duce, but he had to share his power with him PM Under the regime of Kenneth and Ann Mark the Fesmarian Kingdom was renamed the FDR(short for Falangist Republic of Fesmar). The FDR was very aggresive towards the other micronations in Cornwall, at one point there were even talks about a second Cold war between the FDR and the Belgican empire.
The Northern Kingdoms
During the time that the FDR was facing difficulties 3 new Kingdoms were created in the North of Cornwall namely Westwalas, Donyarthia and Valiowlas. Westwalas's name was inspired by what the Cornish were called by the West Saxons(ca 500), Westwalas in its early days was very aggresive and territorial(mainly against Valiowlas). Valiowlas means Valley land in the Cornish language, Valiowlas's main goal was always to promote peace and prosperity, they focused a lot on their economy which is agricultural. Donyarthia's name is inspired by the last true king of Cornwall Donyarth, they have been focusing on making a stable economy since the day that they were created.
Period of Anarchy in Fesmar
The FDR decided that it was time for elections for the position of Prime Minister, Fynley Ainsworth won the election with 65%. The old PM Ann Mark was upset by this and deposed Fynley together with Kenneth, Kenneth used the anarchy to his advantage and became the Fascist ruler of the FDR. Because of Kenneth abolishing the elections and declaring himself the supreme ruler of the FDR the capital Penzancia declared independence. This drove Kenneth mad and he threatened to declare war on Belgica claiming that they used spies in the FDR to make Penzancia leave, he also stated that all of the former Fesmarian states were unifying against him. Kenneth become so mentally ill that he declared Fesmar a roman state and declared New Penzancia and Belgica enemies of the state. But on the 14th of September New Penzancia rejoined them after fierce negotiation and Kenneth turned sane again, Fesmar turned into a kingdom again.
The Abdication and seizing of the Royal throne
On the 1st of October Kenneth announced that he was going to abdicate due to reasons still unknown today, He announced John of Penzancia his succesor. The people of Fesmar and Penzancia stated that a new king would have to be declared, and after the nobility and government members debated a bit they all agreed that John would be crowned King of a new kingdom named Fesmar-Penzancia. When Kenneth returned he demanded that Fynley Ainsworth should be crowned King, but this was 1 week after John was crowned King and it was denied.
A change in Penzancia
Under John I Penzancia and Fesmar was split into two Kingdoms, Penzancia ruled by John and Josephine Hall, Fesmar ruled by Mr Jackson who was a loyal member of a council in Penzancia. Shortly after this split John announced that Penzancia and Fesmar together would form the Empire of Penzancia, the population and size of the empire grew substantially after this. Kenneth came out of abdication and formed the nation of Glynawan, a old imperial province and the last holdout of the Fesmarian Fydtroustist Loyalists Ainsworth-Stormhold and Glynawan both showed to be hostile towards Penzancia during the first month of its establishment, saying that John and Jackson had no legitimacy to be on their thrones.
Penzancia established multiple new diplomatic relationships with Kingdoms from the North of Devon and Cornwall, those being Valiowlas The Donyarthians and Westwalas, before Penzancia interfered these 3 kingdoms had multiple active conflicts with eachother, but with the in Penzancia held Hayle Conference this ended and the 4 Cornish attendees grew very close to eachother.
United Kernow Empire
During the First Hayle Conference a united Empire was discussed, the first foundations were laid for the short lived UKE. On the 22nd of December all the attendees(Penzancia, Fesmar, Westwalas, Saxony, Valiowlas and Donyarthia) united into one big empire called the UKE.
On the 9th of January the UKE reformed into the Fourth Fesmarian Empire, the date was chosen to honor one of the founders of Fesmar as it was his birthday.
Geography
The Fourth Fesmarian Empire is located primarily within the borders of the Cornwall. The Empire's capital is located within the town Penzance hence the name New Penzancia. However there is another more cultural capital namely New Fesmaria, New Fesmaria was originally meant as the capital of Westwalas(A region in Fesmar) but because they joined Fesmar it was transformed into a hub for trade inside Fesmar and the unofficial capital of the Northern regions of Fesmar.
Location
The Fourt Fesmarian Empire is located in the celtic region of Cornwall. Cornwall has a lot of freshwater and saltwater rivers and those rivers present a variety of unique opportunities for trade and commerce, New Fesmaria even has a small restaurant were workers and citizens can get free fish which was catched by volunteers.
Fesmar is located near many special landmarks, like saint michaels mount or Tintagel castle. There are a lot of old Celtic landmarks, if you drive around Cornwall and Fesmarian territory every once in a while you will come across ancient stone monuments and burial mounds.
Climate
Fesmar has a temperate Oceanic climate, with mild winters and cool summers, and hot weather is rare. Fesmar and Cornwall have the mildest and sunniest climate in the United Kingdom, this is owed to its oceanic setting and the influence of the Gulf Stream.

The Fesmarian Empire is divided into 5 regions: Fesmar-Penzancia, Valiowlas, The Principality of Saxony, Westwalas and Donyarthia.
