The Flag of the Republic of New Melanesia is the national flag and a national symbol of the Republic of New Melanesia. It was also the flag of the New Melanesia Project before becoming a republic and was adopted as the flag of the republic on 13 July 2022.
Design
The design features a frigatebird, the republic's national animal, a green beam signifying hope and a black background signifying the unity of the nation. The white colour of the bird also signifies peace.
