Symbolism

Blue and yellow are traditional colours of Carnovia city, used in city's flag and coat of arms and historical colours of Duchy of Carnovia which existed in 1377–1849. The original colors have been lightened. Blue symbolizes humility, but also a duty to the nation. At the same time, it acts as an eternal reminder of gained independence. Yellow symbolizes the rise and true prosperity of the state and the people in united work. It is also identified with St. Benedikt of Nursia. White stands for virtue, justice and law. In the historical context of the country, these factors are amplified and understood as follows: justice for the old nation and the right to self-determination.
