The blue sun flag is the official flag of the republic of austin island. the flag of the republic is different then the flag of the kingdom the flag of the kingdom has a red background with a yellow sun, the flag of the republic has a red background with a white diamond and a blue sun the proportions are similar.
History
On August,2nd,2020 there were rumors of a new flag beacuse the falg of austin island at the time resembled the flag of macedonia. there would be a referendum in november, but by September,2nd,2020 every flag design with drew. on september,15th,2020 it was confirmed that the referendum was cancelled. some of the designs that dropped out were - A flag with a blue background with a white circle with the sword in the center of the circle with 13 stars around the circumfrence of the circle
