The Federated States of Tondo is a micronation in Southeast Asia. It was founded on the 18th of September, 2016. It was founded as a side-project of micronationalists Victor Reyes, Drinian Ordanel and Muhammad Imran Ithistiyam, running as an Alternative Government to their respective micronations. Politically, Tondo is a Parliamentary Republic with a parliamentarilly-elected President who leads the 4-seater National Assembly and serves both as the Head of State and Head of Government.

History

The Nation was first concieved on 9 September 2016 by Victor Reyes as part of his "Alternative Micronation" Project. His niece, Drinian Ordanel agreed to his plan and then, invited Malaysian Micronationalist Muhammad Imran Ihtisyam to join the project.

Ordanel adopted the Constitution on 13 September and was approved a day later. At exactly 2:00 PM on 15 September 2016, the trio declared the new nation's independence from both Malaysia and the Philippines as the Federated States of Tondo.

Politics

Tondo is a Federation of three Federal Districts, namely Johor, Tritonia and San Lorenzo. It is a Parliamentary Republic ruled by the 4-Seater National Assembly, which elects the President who shall lead the Parliament and the Executive Branch for a 2-year term. Although has a Central Government, most legislation and basic customs was being done by the Federal Districts.

National Assembly members are appointed by the Federal Districts. State Elections are held based on State Policies.
