The Federated States of Naas, more commonly known as Naas, is a micronation on the island of Ireland. It consists of 3 Federal Districts, Northern Naas, Southern Naas and Johnstown.
Etymology
The name Naas in Irish translates to "Place of Assembly"
History
The nation has many historic castles, dating back to the 1200s.
Federal Districts
Naas has 3 federal districts (FD), Johnstown, Northern and Southern Naas. Originally, Naas only had 2 FDs, until Johnstown joined the federation in 2022. The largest FD is southern Naas, which reaches out into the countryside. The smallest is Johnstown, which is a Small village north of Naas Town. Most of the Naas Town Centre is in Southern Naas, but Northern Naas has a small amount. Northern Naas is also home to the famous "Naas Racecourse".
Northern Naas
Located at the top of the nation, Northern Naas is the horse racing hub of Naas. It is also a popular spot for shopping as a Business Complex is located within. Naas' only cinema is located in the state. A popular landmark, the Naas Ball, is located in the district and can be seen as you drive into the nation.
Southern Naas
The capital district of Naas, Southern Naas is the heart of shopping in Naas. Most of the town centre and outer parts of the town are here. The national hospital is located within the Lakelands area. In that same area is the Lakelands National Park. Another, smaller business complex is situated in the Southern Naas countryside, as well as a massive distribution centre. The Naas Harbour is a popular spot for walking. The canal became disused in 1960.
Johnstown
Not to be confused with Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny. This Johnstown is located in Co. Kildare.
Johnstown is a new addition to the federation. It is popular destination for commuters coming from the Irish capital, Dublin. Johnstown joined Naas due to its close proximity to the town.
Foreign relations
Naas is quite isolated, as it does not border any other Micronations. However, it has great relations with the Poleglass Democratic Republic, becuase it's President visits Naas often and is great freinds with Naas' President.
Geography and climate
Naas is mostly flat, with no major mountains. Naas Canal flows through the west of the country. Rural areas are filled mostly with farmland or trees
Being in the island of Ireland, Naas has an extremely similar climate. Winter is cold, wet and sometimes snowy. Summer is mild, and sometimes can be warm in short bursts.

The Naas Canal flows through the outskirts of Naas Town. The Naas Town Centre has many shops and restaurants
