The Federal Republic of Cambria, more commonly known as Cambria, is a micronation in the United States, formed on 18 July 2022 by King Darth. On 19 October 2022, Cambria joined and was integrated into the Terredepaixan Federation as a republic.
Etymology
The name Cambria came from the w:Cambrian explosion, which was the beginning of many animal species on Earth.
History
Cambria was formed on 18 July 2022, and gained independence from the United States.
Politics and government
When Cambria was first formed, it was ran under a parliamentary democracy, however it switched to a constitutional monarchy. The main governing body is still a parliament made up of 7 representatives.
Foreign relations
Cambria is part of the Micronational Peace Alliance (MPA), formerly the UFAW and the WMA, and has diplomatic relations with all member states in the MPA.
Geography and climate
Cambria is located on the border of the Appalachian Mountains. It has a humid subtropical climate, with hot and boggy summers, and cold winters.
Culture and media
Cambrian culture is a mix of many cultures, and has many regional dialects from the southeastern and midwestern USA. It takes inspiration from the US in it's film and automobile taste.
