Federal Republic of Bir Tawil, more commonly known as Bir Tawil is a landlocked micronation between Egypt and Sudan. It claims the unclaimed land of Bir Tawil. The Nation was founded on the 6 August 2022. The Bir Tawil region was previously left unclaimed. The reason the Bir Tawil region is unclaimed is due to both Egypt and Sudan claiming the Hala'ib Triangle and claiming the Bir Tawil Triangle would negate their claim on the 'more valuable' Hala'ib Triangle. Bir Tawil attempts to stay neutral on the Hala'ib triangle dispute.
The Federal Republic of Bir Tawil will become a republic after the constitution is written and ratified by the Constituent Assembly of Bir Tawil.
Bir Tawil has also not established any foreign relationships with any other micronations.
History
Bir Tawil was founded on the 6 August 2022 with the signing of the Declaration Form. It was signed by the four founding members of the country, A. Pranav, R. Abhinav, G. Kadir Madiyan, and M. Naveen Kumar.
There have been some disturbances in the nation. The nation is quite unstable with it being pushed towards civil war many times.
On the 24 August 2022, due to silly reasons, the Prime Minister, V. Manikkam launched a No Confidence motion in the Constituent Assembly against the President A. Pranav. The No Confidence motion was conducted in the absence of R. Abhinav, Minister of External Affairs, and a founding member of the country. But his vote was counted against A. Pranav. But the two-thirds majority that was required was still not reached. But the motion was passed. Later in the day, in a recount, it failed to gain any support in the Assembly except for M. Naveen Kumar who had always been against the socialist agenda of the nation.
In humiliation, V. Manikkam resigned from office soon after on the 26 August 2022. The post of Prime Minister was briefly held by M. Naveen Kumar, before he resigned from office on 30 August 2022. V. Manikkam reassumed power on 1 September 2022.
