The Federal Directorate of Agriculture & Environment is an executive department of the National Directorate of the Co-operative Government of Easway. It is currently led by federal director Aleksoundër 'Leafer' Zerrindou since 14 April 2023.

Federal Directives

  • Recycling Glass Bottles (14 July 2021 under Teireet): Mandating all glass bottles to be recycled by all persons.
  • Food Control Commission (since 1 August 2021 under Teireet): Established a directorate commission which ranks the quality of food and regulates food imports.
  • Watermelon Pizza Directive (since 24 October 2021 under Teireet): Prohibited the sale and consumption, unless absolutely necessary, pizzas made with a watermelon base.

Bear Island Directives

  • Sheep Court (16 November 2021 under Gaia Grìbhinneach): Established a sheep court system to count and regulate the sheep, administered by the Directorate and two elected prefects.

Historical Events of Note

9th Director of Agriculture & Environment Syri (4th of the Pomors Strait) became the third government representative to be impeached by the higher courts in modern Easwegian history, and only one of five to be impeached overall, next to Marquis Alperen (impeached by the courts for ultranationalism), Dreadnought (sentenced to exile for espousing jingoist and fascist views and genocidal rhetoric), Aleksou Desourre (ousted in a back-door party coup by the Long Palace legislature in agreement with opposition to make way for Etch to take over the Mutualist Ouroboros Party) and Etch (impeached by the Long Palace legislature for leaking classified documents and allegedly being in contact with state enemies, fled the country after a court ordered arrest warrant). Syri was later granted full and unconditional clemency by Grand Councillor Emizerri on the 24th November 2022 and later went on to be elected as the 6th General Director (chief head of government) the next year.
