February 2023 Besonian Rebel Skirmishes
On 22 February 2023, Besonian rebels, in a Norwegian outpost of Besonia, attacked Besonian peacekeeping forces with makeshift weapons made of snow, pinecones, ice, and other objects found outside. This was, as President Ran DB described, "glorified snowball fights".

Day 1: 22 February
At around 14:00 (2PM) local time, Besonian rebels and Besonian peacekeepers met outside in the snow. The rebels attacked, and hid. Besonians dug trenches into the snow to hide and ambush them. During a standoff about 2 hours after the first attack, a rebel punched a peacekeeper multiple times in the arm, causing him to get hit twice by pinecones covered in snow. After he was injured, the battle was stopped for a temporary ceasefire.
Day 2: 23 February
Troops gathered outside for a battle, but nothing happened and the trenches were just built up and fortified.
Day 3: 24 February
Late in the afternoon, around 17:00, troops from both sides gathered and began fighting, in the trenches, in a similar style to WW1 trench warfare. This ended with a ceasefire around 4 hours later, with no significant injuries.
Day 4: 25 February
The outpost had to be left by both sides, so the troops gathered and signed a truce, marking the end of the conflict.
