The Fair Republic of Nedland is a micronational entity which claims to be the rightful government of what is now the Khanate of Nedland. This claim is unrecognized by the majority of Nedlandic citizens and international observers, and due to how recent the claim is, the extent to which it is intended to be jocular is being debated.
In mid-August 2015, John Smith became the disputed President of Nedland after a military coup, ruling for four days until Nedland was annexed by Paravia. During a Skype call on 3 July 2017, the topic of Hawkin's tenure as president of Nedland for a few days was discussed, and the idea was hatched to make him president again and to form a right wing, Christian government of Nedland. The Fair Republic of Nedland is a Christian and democratic micronation based solely in North America.
