Ercipenian Civil War
The Ercipenian Civil War was a bloody but short war fought between the three triarchs in the Independent Republic of South Bages. This conflict ended with the exile of one of the triarchs. It was
the biggest military conflict that ever ocurred in the Republic.
Antecedents
Before the mentioned war occurred, the Republic was running smothly without any problems. Even three days before it started the government was signing international treaties and there wasn't any clear hint of what was to come. Althrough there had been some discussions between the government members before, none of them had ever escalated and the triarchy had mantained the stability in the country until the very last day.
Events that led to the war
The disagreements between the members of the government ended with a censure motion to depose the triarch of Crateria, who, as soon as he heart the news tried to uneffectively do a coup d'etat to siege power, this one was also supported by antigovernment forces like socialists that signed an agreement with the triarch to share power. The coup resulted in a partial faliure and the uprising was rapidly repressed.
Military operations
After the coup started, a fire exchange started between the two belligerents using pirotecnic artillery. Also rockets were used to infringe fear on the other side. The exchange lasted all night and at 6:00 am the Opposition forces capitulated since they had no artillery left.
Consequences
The triarch of Crateria was forced to exile with all their supporters and his loyal provinces were annexed by the other two triarchs.
