The Eastern Soviet Red Guard, also abbreviated in E.S.R.G. is the national defense force of the Eastern Soviet Union. The name has been used since the foundation of the nation, but is often mistaken for the Military of the Western Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

The Eastern Soviet Red Guard comprises of the Red Guard, the Leningrad Guard or the border patrol, and the Presidential Security Guard. The three main ESRG branches are under the command of the Ministry of Defense.


History

The Eastern Soviet Army was established soon after the foundation of the Soviet Government

Command Structure

The Eastern Soviet Armed Forces are under the command of the President of the Eastern Soviet Union. Under the President, there's another person which directly controls the ESAF, called the Chief of Staff. The Chief of Staff, controls directly all operations in the Eastern Soviet Union and outside the Eastern Soviet territory.

The current Chief of Staff is yet to be announced by the President of the Eastern Soviet Union.

Mobilization

The units of the Eastern Soviet Armed Forces are used for the military defense of the national territory and for the public security of the Eastern Soviet Union.


Branches of the ESAF

Since its creation, the Armed Forces of the Eastern Soviet Union were divided in different branches, or departments. Each department is headed by a Commander which is responsible for its organization.

Army

The Red Guard of the Eastern Soviet Union is the official defense force of the Eastern Soviet Union. Their Sole duty is to protect the people of the Eastern Soviet Union. They also have the ability to arrest both civilians and military.

Uniforms

The Uniforms of the Red Guard are used to distinguish members of the Red Guard from civilians. The final design of the uniform has yet to be chosen, but is planed to be finalized by mid December.

Presidential Guard

The Presidential Guard of the Eastern Soviet Union is used for the protection of the President of the Eastern Soviet Union. It was founded in December 2012 as a way to protect Heads of State that visit the Eastern Soviet Union.

Uniforms

The Complete uniform of the Presidential Guard has yet to be finalized, but it is expected to be similar to that of the Red Guard.
