The Eastern Baltic catholic church is a church denomination in West Latgale, founded to make control of the church easier in micronationalism. It has recently become more popular in West Latgale, and is promoted by the government of West Latgale.

About

The Eastern Baltic Catholic church, was founded on the 10th of December, where as a holy ceremony to fully open the church happened on the 11th of December, when Roberts had visited West Latgale. The ceremony had around 6 people, and the rosary was prayed. It is a form of Catholicism, mostly associating itself with Eastern Catholicism, but not orthodoxy. It's liturgy is Latin, making it way different than other sui iuris churches. Believers pray 2 times a day, in the morning, and in the evening. Prayers are mostly in Latgalian and Latin, while Polish is also used. God is called "Dīvūklis" and Jesus is called "Jezus Krystus". The Church allows double denomination, while with some rules, most importantly, that a Person may have double denominations, (one of those denominations being the E.B.C.C) but the second denomination, must be the Latin church, of the Catholic faith.

History

The Church was founded on the 10th of December, 2021, by Roberts Bruoliņš. It was made as a rite of the Catholic church. It remained to be a active and important church in West Latgale, up until the 17th of January, when West Latgale collapsed. This bringed the church into chaos, and lands of the church were severely taken away. Repressions of members of the church happened in many areas around ex-West Latgale. This chaos bringed the church into loss of lands, and sometimess cases of heresy happened inside of the church. Until the 17th of February, when the February reforms happened, this revived the church, and began looking for giving such things as land back.
