East York, is a city in the Republic of New York and is the county seat of North Atlantic. Northwest Warren is a historical city in the Republic of New York predating the founding of the Republic of New York. It served as the capital of the Independent Republic of New York and it is home to the regional currency Chuckbucks. The attraction here is the Chuckbuck workshop, where the currency was developed.

Etymology

East York was named after New York City, the location name East comes from the fact that it is east of the Mississippi River.

History

Founding Era

The founding of East York was on 5 May 2022 under the Independent Republic of New York this city served as its capital. The population at this time was 3 and the claim started with a total of 0.002 km (0.001 sq. mi) which consisted of the president's apartment.

Development Era

The developmental era was an era of relative stability and large population growth. The population increased from 3 to 7 and the economy was growing at a steady pace.

Economic Growth

When East York was created the currency of Chuckbucks was growing slowly and close to stagnating. The President helped revive the currency and it started a massive growth throughout the school and a couple others. East York became the economic capital of trade and commerce its GDP grew from $0.01 to $1.00, and this growth continued until July.

Economic Downfall

The economic downfall of East York's Economy started in July when the currency stagnated. The currency's value collapsed in about 1 month from July to August during this time GDP shrunk from $1.00 to $0.25 as the economy shrank. This would result in the dissolution of the Independent Republic of New York.

Reformed Era

The reformed era started when East York became part of the Republic of New York. The economy and population started growing faster and GDP went up to $0.27. The President had to move on 23 October which resulted in the end of the reformed era, and the economy slowing down more.

Current Era

After the President moved from East York, everything slowed down in the city. A discovery was made in the school courtyard finding many old Chuckbucks which were valued at about $0.02 which grew to economy to $0.29 and Chuckbucks started production again. The currency started growing again in February 2023 and the economy increased to $0.35 in GDP it became a widely accepted currency once again. Chuckbucks became a regional currency, the city population also increased to 15 people, and the city nowadays has made an economic recovery.

Geography

East York stands at an elevation of 2 meters or (6ft) above sea level. It is located in Downstate New York, where the elevation is low.

Climate

The temperature in the city of East York ranges from 29.3°C (84.9°F) in July, the warmest month, to 4.1°C (39.5°F) in February, the coldest month.
