Summary

Duke of Hossler, Grandee of Castile (Spanish: Duque de Hossler) is a title in the Peerage of Castile. It was created by King James I in 2022 for his husband, singer Jaden Hossler .

The name of the title refers to the singer's family name Hossler.

History

When King James I and Jaden Hossler got married on 5 May 2022, he realized that the Fundamental Laws of The Kingdom by King Alfonso XII, didn't allow Jaden to share his husband's title, since the fundamental laws only allow female consorts to have the title of Queen consort, and since Castile is a Salic kingdom, which means that females cannot be Queens on their own right, a male consort was never defined in the fundamental laws of Castile, the text says that "the King's wife is to be bestowed as Queen consort of Castile, upon the coronation of His Majesty". Before such a problem, King James decided to grant the title of Prince to Hossler and create him Duke of Hossler.

His physical coronet had to be forged in less than one day, and it is made of a crown made of pure gold, with eight rubies, two sapphires, eight emeralds and four pearls. It is estimated to weight about one kilogram and it is worth approximately twenty four thousand dollars.

The coronet, as most of the kingdom are safely located in the Royal Treasury vault. This is one of the several rights peers in Castile have, they have the right to have their physical coronets safely guarded by the royal guard of castile in the Royal Treasury vault.
