Yellow Klyn(Ukrainian: Жовтий Клин)(German: Gelber Keil) is a micronation located in eastern Europe, along the straights of Volga river. Population stands at estimated 9 347 488 people. The nation is a unitary parliamentary republic.

    History

    Formation

On 4 April 2022, 133 representatives from Samara, Saratov, Volgograd and Astrakhan oblasts of russian Federation gathered in Samiylivka, Saratov and created Telegram channel called "Council of Peoples". On the same day Declaration of undermining russian war on Ukraine was published. On April 6 Council of Peoples started negotiating independence with local buisnessmen, cultural and political leaders, alongside writing first consitution articles. On April 8 the Declaration of Independence was published, containing signatures of 133 representatives and an elected head for Council of Peoples, Maxim Maximovich Budan.

    Original Constutition and Declaration

Originals for both documents were lost in time due to FSB interference, yet some of the Articles survived and still at disposal in Yellow Klyn capital. Declaration of independence was largely inspired by American Declaration of Independence, yet it didnt have any mentions of a god or "fraternal relationship" with former Metropole. It declared 4 oblasts of former russia independent from Moscow, starting tradition of Yellow Klyn independence. Constitution of Yellow Klyn was inspired by Constitution of Ukraine. According to Constitution of Yellow Klyn of 10 April 2022 Yellow Klyn is Three-national parliamentary democratic state, ruled by Council of Peoples and Council of Commons. In Council of Peoples 33 mandates were reserved for Ukrainians, 33 for russians and 33 for Germans.

    Reaction

After publishing of 111 constitution articles and Declaration of Independence Saratov russian governor was fired, and charges of treason were placed onto some local parliamentaries

    First Viktor Hevko term

In May 2022, head of Council of Peoples registred in Twitter. First contact with other micronations was made making Yellow Klyn one of the earliest Ukrainian Micronations to get solid recognition. At the time, most micronations were united under the banner of EEAS(Eastern European Alliance of Security), which drove Yellow Klyn into Eastern European integration reforms. On 8 June 2022 Ukrainian actor Viktor Hevko was elected head of Council of Peoples. First decision new head of the State made was constitutional reform. Large part of EEAS integration was derussification. Due to more and more russian war crimes getting known to the public and derussification being part of EEAS requirments, on 5th of July Russian Autonomous Region was renamed to Volgan Autonomous Region, and, in three days, it was Liquidated, making Yellow Klyn two nation-state. During 5-8 July administrative reform the capital of Yellow Klyn was renamed from Samiylivka to Chumack, to honour first ukrainians in Volga steppes, who traded salt. Yellow Klyn membership in EEAS was declined on members voting. On 15 July decision of Council of Peoples was made into making Eastern Ukrainian Flaming Church of Patriarchical Matriarchate, following the God of Light R'hllor, official religion of the state, despite Orthodox and Luteran christianity being majority religion among citizens. During July-August 2022 Rostov insurgency Yellow Klyn took neutral stance despite both sides trying to get the country involved.

    Vyacheslav Chornovil era

In late August Viktor Hevko was banned from Twitter, leaving acting president in depressed state and passing power to the new head of Council of Peoples Vyacheslav Chornovil. One of the first decisions of Vyacheslav Chornovil was creation of a sizeable army and sending it to the frontlines of Starodub August Insurgency, sending "Gelb" battalion into areas of infighting. Later that month Orenburg declared independence in the easternmost part of the oblast, laying claim on Samara oblast. In blitzkrieg 7 days long campaign all of the insurgent forces capitulated at the promise to have their crimes pardoned. Last subject of Yellow Klyn, Orenburg oblast(without Orenburg city) was integrated into the country on 7 September. It is rumoured that plans of annexing those terrirtories were "on the table" even before Vyacheslav Chornovil ascension to head of the state. Same day Rostov Peoples Republic-backed separatists declared creation of a new state- Astrakhan Khanate, resulting in Rostov-Yellow-Klyn cold war. It was rumoured Yellow Klyn hid separatists from Shakhty Peoples Republic, Rostov breakaway state disguised as football team. Vyacheslav Chornovil declared breaking of all diplomatic relations with Rostov Peoples Republic. In the morning of 11 April, only 4 days after its creation, Astrakhan Khanate capitulated. After the Astrakhan uprising head of Council of Peoples declared building of a new dam system over river Don Dispute over building a new dam system over Don was then resolved in EEAS court with Yellow Klyn canceling construction project. On the third of October Yellow Klyn and Rostov Peoples Republic signed non-aggression pact, with footballers being given up to Rostov authorities. Following months manifested decline in Ukrainian micronational community. Most nations became inactive and community almost died.

    Second Viktor Hevko term

Viktor Hevko returned to Twitter in March of 2023. He had been restored in head of Council of Peoples position while making Vyacheslav Chornovil head of Council of Commons. One of the first decisions of Viktor Hevko after assuming office was recognition of Shakhty People's Republic, breakaway state from the Rostov People's Republic, stating: "Rostov Republic is dead. All of its Capos are dead. We have nothing to recognise there. But Shakhty PR lives." thus ending the Cold War with decisive Yellow Klyn victory. Next decision Viktor took was electoral reform and conducting elections into lower house of parliament. First ever nation-wide elections were held in March of 2023 with "October" movement winning it. Head of Council of Peoples promised to continue derussification program.
