The United Republic of Liberty, more commonly known as The United Republic or Liberty, is a micronation in the United States of America. The United Republic was created in January and became independent on 17 July 2022 out of self-defense after an invasion by another force. Since then, the United Republic has a strong military and a city dedicated to producing military weapons.There are two political parties in the United Republic. The Founders Party focuses on the future of the United Republic. The Frontiers Party focuses on the future of the people. One person is elected as president for life. The United Republic has created the UMN or the United Micronations. Only two micronations are currently in the UMN. Origins of the name go back to January of 2022. The name Liberty came from feeling free of everything while being in the forest. The United Republic part of the name is unknown.

History

Early Exploration

Early exploration of the United Republic began in 2015 and 2016. Midway through 2016, four kids came together and built a teepee made of tarp. Later that day, those four kids ( Grant, Evie, Sophie and Zane would be later known as the founders of the URL ) created Little America and in under a year the capital had those Little Tike houses in present day Butterfly Village. The first flag was designed in November of 2016 and was registered as the first flag of Little America in 2022.

Butterfly Village

In 2018, Mayor Grant Myers changed the name of Little America to Butterfly Village on April 16th, 2018. The name change was because of Grant seeing a lot of Butterflies around one oak tree. Butterfly Village served as the capital for Butterfly Village until 2022. On Memorial Day 2019, a tornado outbreak occurred in the Miami Valley of Ohio with the strongest being a EF4 hit the suburbs of Dayton, Ohio. A EF3 tornado fizzled out and went over Butterfly Village. In January of 2020, a tornado began to form and was heading for downtown Troy, Ohio later being classified as a EF0.

An early United Republic

In January of 2022, the first signs of the United Republic were being created. Known as Liberty at the time, Grant Myers was creating a flag for Liberty and came up with a design that is still in use today. The blue represents the creek, the white represents snow, the crescent moon represents nature and the two stripes represent the previous two factions. Liberty was divided in two as an experiment to see if war could happen. Fortnite in the east and Liberty to the west. In March of 2022, Fortnite sold itself to Liberty and would then form the United Republic of Liberty.

The United Republic of Liberty

After Liberty bought Fortnite ( 100 cents USD ) the United Republic of Liberty was formed and multiple flag changes occurred. In late May of 2022, president Grant Myers started the operation to clear a path around the entire United Republic. It wasn't until June 2nd that the path around the United Republic was completed. On June 16th, the first flag was raised and in early July was replaced by a new one. On June 30th, the first successful bridge was created and 35 days later another bridge was created. In mid July, a nation known as the Kingdom of Fortnite invaded the URL. The invaders were Jacob Fuller and Zane Myers. On July 17th, 2022, in self defense the United Republic declared independence and became a micronation. In early August, another invasion by the Kingdom of Fornite would launch another invasion. In the early morning of August 28th, an oak tree about 60 ft. tall fell and landed on Columbia, Union Providence and Nova Libertas. The tree caused the path around the URL to be closed temporarily. On September 29th, 2022, the worst invasion by the Kingdom of Fortnite took place and destruction took place in Libra and the Wyattsburg Bridge. After that day Jacob Fuller was seen as an enemy to the United Republic. Zane Myers later rejoin the URL. The United Republic currently has 13 states and is a superpower with the 2nd strongest military in the URL-KMF alliance. ( KMF is the Kingdom of Maple Forest. )

Government

The United Republic government is made up of three different sections. The first section is the Council, the second section of the government is the Representatives and the last section of the government is The Courts.

Council

The Council contains the President, Second in Command, and the Senator. The President of the United Republic has full control of the military, creation of new laws and declaring war. A new President is elected once he/she dies. Second is Command is like a Vice President and Secretary of Defense combined. Second in Command is chosen by the President. The Senator represents the people of the entire nation overseas and in the nation. The Senator is chosen by the President or is elected by the people.

Representatives

The Representatives represent the people of each state. There is usually one Representative for each state that is elected by the people. The Representatives are called into a meeting once a month and present issues to the president about problems that the people want fixed in there state. Representatives are elected when the President calls for one.

Courts

The Courts function with a Judge, defendant, and two lawyers. Trials usually last about 5-10 minutes depending on what crime the defendant committed. The Courts will sometimes attend meetings.

Politics

There are two political parties in the United Republic. The Founders Party focuses on the future of the United Republic like military, industry and foreign relations. The Frontiers Party focuses on the future of the people like jobs and carriers.

Law and order

The United Republic Law Enforcement enforces the laws that the President creates. Criminals who are caught breaking the law are thrown into prison and stay for a given time depending on what crime they commited.

Foreign relations

Foreign relations are with The Kingdom of Maple Forest is good but there some tension. Foreign relations with the Kingdom of Fortnite have ended in total war.

Military

The military of the United Republic is strong. The branches of the military are the Air Force, The Army and the S.O.U ( Special Operatives Units). The weapon that the URL Amry uses is the Nerf Alpha Trooper CS-6. The United Republic spends an average of 930 Crescents or $46 USD. The only conflict that the United Republic took part in was The War of September 29th. That war was the first victory for the United Republic.

Geography and climate

The geography of the United Republic is a forest with mostly flat terrain with a small creek and a few hills. The tallest point in the United Republic is Mt. Grantsburgs which rests at 940 ft. above sea level. The lowest point i the United Republic is Creekfront which rests at 933 ft. above sea level. The climate of the United Republic is hot summers and cold winters. The transition from fall to winter is usually cloudy, cold and rainy. The transition from winter to spring to summer is warm with clear skies. The final seasonal transition from summer to fall is hot and gradually gets cold.

Currently there is no trading but the military economy is strong.

Culture

The Culture of the United Republic varys from where you are at. In Pinewood, Roadview, St. Martin, Area 72 and Ditchland, it is a peaceful, friendly and rural culture. In Butterfly, Creekfront, Nova Libertas, Acht'en and Union Providence is a urban, tough and militaristic culture. In Columbia, Crescent Hill and St. Myers is a poor, sad and little militaristic culture. All three cultures have there differences but what ties the United Republic together is the Libertonian Dream. The Libertonian Dream is that with enough hard work and determination, you can accomplish what you what to accomplish.

States

There are currently thirteen states in the United Republic. Acht'en (AH), Area 72 (A72), Butterfly (BF), Columbia (CA), Creekfront (CF), Crescent Hill (CH), Ditchland (DL), Nova Libertas (NL), Pinewood (PW), Roadview (RV), St.Martin (MA), St. Myers (MY) and Union Providence (UP). Nova Librtas is the biggest state and Columbia is the smallest state.
