The Imperial Republic of Talbot, more commonly known as Talbot or I.R.C, is a micronation in Eastern Maryland, United States. It was formed on new years day with a Declaration of Independence being written and signed the next day. On January 3rd a Constitution was written that made Dauson the Kancler for life.
Name
The name Talbot came from the county that the micronation resides in, Talbot County, witch was named after the sister to the second Lord of Baltimore, Lady Grace Talbot.
History
The Imperial Republic of Talbot was formed on January 1st 2023 by two friends. The next day, on January 2nd 2023, one of them, Dauson, wrote the declaration of independence claiming that "For to long the ideas of the people Talbot had been rejected" and that "it is our duty to resist and declare ourselves independent." On January 3rd 2023, A constitution was written explaining how the government will be ran. On January 5th a series of bills were passed as an emergency act by Kancler Dauson. In these included a emergency election where Willeam Gee was elected Rector for the term.
Politics and government
The Government in the Imperial Republic of Talbot is led by the Kancler who has 2 co-rulers (Rectors). There is a senate that make such as editing the constitution. The Kancler is the only one who can make laws, but the Rectors and the Senate can veto any law made by him. The Senate needs 2/3 majority votes to veto any orders. Additionally, he constitution states that citizens get basic rights like Freedom of Speech, Press, Religion and right to fair, speedy trial.
Kancler(Chancellor)
The Kancler is the head of the Imperial Government of Talbot. The function of the Kancler is to act like a dictator. He is the only one that can makes laws. The Kancler can veto things done by the Rectors or Senet (Except veto veto's). He also leads the army and any diplomatic affair. This is a position held for life or until the current one can no longer do the needed functions
Rectors (Co Chancellors)
The Rector's are second in command. They are allowed to propose laws to the Senate and Kancler, however both must agree when it comes to this. For there law to be passed they must get 2/3 approval by senate and approval from the Kancler. They can also reside over diplomatic affairs. These positions are for a six month office.
Senat (Senate)
The Senate is the legislative branch for the Imperial Republic of Talbot. It can make decisions including declarations of war of peace, or other as well as making edits to the constitution or resolve any issue that arises. The term lasts a year before new ones are elected.

Talbot operates as a nonpartisan democracy.
Law, order, and Military
The Judicial branch runs the enforcement in the I.R.T. The Kancler is the head judge and lead chief of law enforcement. The military and the law enforcement are the same thing in the I.R.T however as it grows the nation plans to separate the two branches.
Administrative regions
A person may contact a body of government to request an approval of land claims in the I.R.T. The requirement is that the plot must be more than 5 square feet for it to be claimed.

Geography and climate
The geography is relatively flat, with most of the territory having very little hills or change in elevation. Climate is relativity the same every year with hot summers and cold winters.
