~ INTRODUCTION OF TIWI ~
The United States of Tiwi (shortened to Tiwi) is a Micronation inside the country of Australia. Tiwi is made up of 6 states and 1 disputed territory with Australia (the community of Pirlangimpi. 1 of the states is a port on Bathurst Island in the town of Wurrumiyanga called State of Puti, 2 other states are on Belville Island and they are called State of Milikapiti and State of River. The other 3 states are on the small, uninhabited islands of Buchanan, Harris, and Seagull Island. The states are called State of Forest, State of Harris Island, and State of Seagull Island. The disputed community of Pirlangimpi is a community disputed with Australia. We have 1 airport located in the capital of Milikapiti called Snake Bay Airport. Our president is President Alex.
~ NAME ORIGIN OF TIWI ~
The name Tiwi comes from the aboriginal Tiwi people on Bathurst and Melville islands
~ HISTORY OF TIWI ~
The history of the UST starts with the land we wanted to claim, so first we wanted water access so the Australian government allowed us to have a port in the town of Wurrumiyanga, that was the first piece of land we had although we hadnt even claimed a capital yet. After a bit we wanted to claim Buchanan Island, but Australia only let us have about half. Then we finally got a capital, the village of Milikapiti was out new capital! Luckily, it has an airport to for people to visit our micronation. After, we wanted more islands because we liked islands for some reason. We claimed Harris Island and Seagull Island. A bit of a while after, we claimed some land around Bath Creek, we agreed to Australia that it would be our last piece of claimed land for a while. We named that new state State of River
~ THE LEADER ~
Our leader is President Alex (His Tiwan name is Sleleol and he happily rules the UST).

~ GEOGRAPHY/CLIMATE ~
When we were apart of Australia's Northern Territory, our uninhabited states had the Northern Territory's best developed eucalypt forests, along with an unusually high density and extent of rainforests. We even have higher rainfall than on mainland Northern Territory to this date. The weather here is usually quite hot, averaging of 29 degrees celsius which is 84.2 degrees fahrenheit. Sometimes it can be a bit cloudy but still quite hot. Our coimate is dry and monsoonal climate, with a hot/humid and wet season, also a hot and dry season.
