The duchy of Snekaladonia, more commonly known as Snekaladonia is a Micronation in New Zealand. Originally a small idea a little project idea with frineds after a while our republic grew we made names flags a currency and even leader ship roles when we found out the other Micronations like ours existed we had to join in. We are located in New Zealand, Oromahoe with beautiful scenery and great amazing wildlife perfect for a start of a Micronation.

The Duchy Of Snekaladonia has two political parties, green house and purple house. These two parties represent their opinion on the current law policies. The Ministry of International Affairs serves as a place-hold for meetings with other Micronations and managing our citizens current status. Our minister serves as a political face for the duchess the duchess may attend meetings and political argument's buts needs more of a public face for the government.

Snekaladonia was already a Micro-nation without even knowing micronations existed. We were thinking of making a country as a project for years until we realised that if we do not try it may as well never happen. Snekaladonia has been a thriving country ever since we created it. Our minister of international Affairs makes sure that we are in-touch with other micronations like our nearby Brünswickerlande with it being a private nation (For now) we are the only ones in touch with them and when we meet up we end up having discussions about our countries for hours.

Etymology

Snekaladonia's name comes from the animal name Snake.

History

This country started as a bunch of friends hearing about Micronations. We started to draft ideas and names for our country until we settled on Snekalaladonia a duchy with a duchess in command.

Politics and government

Our political appearance is really important to us we have a International Affairs Minister, and the the Minister of Political Affairs. the leader is chosen through the royal bloodline.

Duchess Willow Vandanameele

The Duchess has a series of political abilities that include Knighting, having a voice in the countries actions, Buisness and design of the currency.

Minister Sasha Adams

The Minister Sasha Adams Takes care of making sure every Political official is kept in check and speaks for the duchess when she cannot.

Law and order

Common law in Snekaladonia are as followed.

No Use of illegal substances. Smoking is not allowed for ages under 28. Weaponry is not allowed to be owned by any citizen. Drinking is only allowed by the age of 20.

Military

We stopped the use of army right after the dissicution of what the laws are we are a peaceful county and hope to keep it that way.
