The Republic of Svalbard, more commonly known as Svalbard, is a micronation in the archipelago of Svalbard and was created on the 10 July 2023.

The Republic is governed by the citizen Mathéo and it was a socialist Republic.

History

Republic of Svalbard was created on the 10 July 2023, at the beginning it was called the Republic of Ardancia before this was changed by a revision of the constitution.

Politics and government

President

Head of state and of the government is the President of the Republic of Svalbard and have many power, include:

Represents the state
Commander in chief of the army
Conducte the politics of the States
Can veto a law
To summon National Assembly for an extraordinary session
Can nominate head of secretary general of the State, all department head, all department assistant head and Chief judge of the supreme court and require (without the secretary general of the State) and a vote of confirmation of the Senate

Vice-President

Head of the state in second is the Vice-President and have many power, include:

Represents the state
Commander in chief of the army
Replace the President when they are unavailable

Parliament

The Parliament was composed of a one chamber, the Senate.

Council of the Nation

The chamber have the power to vote law, act, etc proposed by the executive committee or by a member.

Senate

The Senate have the power to vote law, act, etc proposed by the President or by a member, vote executive veto, vote of confirmation of a nominate by the executive committee.

The Department of Public Safety is responsible for the defense and the safety in the Republic of Svalbard. It was established on the 24 August 2023 under the modification of a Public Administration Code.

Department of Transportation and Urbanism

The Department of Transportation and Urbanism is responsible for the transport and the urban project in the achipelago of Svalbard and to managed the national aviation company and civil marines. It was established on the 8 September 2023 under a modification of the Public Administration Code.
