The People's Republic of Solmerania, known as Solmerania, is a micro state located in Central Europe. Solmerania declared its independence on 16th December 2023 and continued to grow. It's fully surrounded by the Republic of Poland, PRS also has access to the sea.
Etymology
Meaning
The name is believed to be created from two words - "Sol" and "Pomerania". Sol in Spanish means "Sun" and Pomerania is a region where the state is located.
History
Solmerania, a nation born from the vision of Phoenix Sol, later to become the President of the republic, declared its independence on 16 December 2023. The conception of the state was rooted in Sol's aspiration to make lives of the people inhabiting its territories better. A week later, Leader of the republic announced state's first Constitution of PRS.
Politics and government
Solmerania operates as a centralized, one-party socialist republic, with the Supreme Council serving as its legislative body. The Solmeranian Progressive Party stands as the sole legal political party in the country, shaping its policies and direction. This setup reflects a commitment to socialist ideals and centralized governance, aiming to ensure societal progress and equality for all citizens.
