The First North Texas Micronational War, initially called the Rivero-Shattered Souls war was a three-sided conflict between the Kingdom of Riveria and it's allies against the Shattered Souls controlled territory of the Shattered-Lands and it's puppet states, As well as Pongu who was against them both. It was declared on May 2 2023 by the Shattered-Lands president Ryan Long against the Kingdom of Riveria, with Riveria's only ally at the time, The Cyberstalkers, joining in on the same day. Over time, many more combatants joined in the fighting, including Pongu, who declared war on Riveria after one of the co-supreme leader's friends was kicked out for treason. Despite this, there was very little actual fighting and more of an attempt to damage each other's reputations like spreading rumors across the school and more or less a de facto cold war with little actual military action taking place, while there was an actual declaration of war.

The reason behind the declaration of war is the Shattered-Lands imperialistic tendencies, wanting to invade and annex Riveria into their own territory, the same intention was towards Pongu. It is unknown whether the Shattered-Lands wanted any other affiliated micronation in the area.

History

Origin

After Riveria was initially founded by Dameon Townsend and Aiden Russell, Dameon Townsend completely abandoned the Shattered Souls altogether, Ryan Long eventually became the president of the new "Shattered-Lands" soon after Dameon abandoned it. Dameon was unaware of this new leadership until he got word that Shattered-Lands declared war on Riveria with the intent of annexing it. The king of Riveria went on to try to prevent annexation of Riveria's territory by signing treaties and recruiting new members.

Treaty of Eaton

One such treaty Riveria signed was the Treaty of Eaton which was signed on 8 May 2023. This officially made the Kingdom of Riveria, and the Dinglese Empire allies. This caused Dingleville to officially join the war against the Shattered-Lands.

Pongu's declaration of war

Not long after the treaty of Eaton was signed, Pongu declared war on Riveria for kicking out of the co-supreme leader's friends. This declaration was short lived however, as just a few days of later, Pongu suspended their declaration in an attempt to join Riveria and Dingleville as an ally, this offer was rejected as they were suspected to be working with the Shattered-Lands.

The great Truce

"The Great Truce" is the name given to the two month and twenty-eight day long period from 26 May to 16 August in which there was zero interference between the two sides. As between that time summer break occurred and there was no way the two sides could have fought each other in any way possible.

Operation Homecoming

Operation Homecoming was a military/espionage operation in which Aubrie Stowell who was a high ranked member of the Riverian Royal Defense Force was tasked to catfishing the Prime Minister of the Shattered-Lands Gabriel Reyes into revealing secretive information about the Shattered-Lands, or possibly causing the leaders to hand the Shattered-Lands over to her. The Operation was launched in August after Gabriel was supposedly flirting with Aubrie, giving them the idea of catfishing him into giving info. The operation was named after the homecoming dance, which was an event being held at the school which would have been the perfect time to lure Gabriel into giving sensitive info, this however didn't end up happening.

The operation was declared a failure after many defense force members were accusing Aubrie of "falling for Gabriel", and very little information was given about the Shattered Souls' controlled micronations.

Formation of the Polarian Alliance

On September 5, Riveria and Dingleville signed the Polarian treaty, dissolving the last alliance and making a new one, the Polarian Alliance, who was founded with the intention of defeating the Shattered-Lands, Manajia was also given the treaty document in order to join the Polarian Alliance, however as of 12 October 2023, they are yet to submit it.

Formation of Testicular Distortion

In September 2023, in an attempt to rival the Polarian Alliance, the Shattered-Lands formed Testicular Distortion, a military alliance parodying the Polarian Alliance. The Alliance consisted of the Shattered-Lands and one of it's puppet states, Ligmabutthole.

Kidnapping of Gabriel Reyes

In September, the Shattered Souls rebels captured the then president of the Shattered-Lands, in an interrogation attempt by the rebels and by the monarch of Riveria. The event was also unwittingly done by the president of the Shattered-Lands Ryan Long, who didn't know of the kidnapping until after Gabriel was let out.

The interrogation was considered a partial success, as some key information was revealed, such as Testicular Distortion, which was unknown to Riveria or the rebels beforehand.

Operation Dreadful

Operation Dreadful was a planned but cancelled invasion of the Shattered-Lands by Polarian Alliance Forces meant to take place during November of 2023. It was initially thought of in August of 2023, and was officially planned out in mid September 2023. The plan consisted of targeting it's largest settlement of Sendera Ranch, which was believed to be the only Shattered-Lands land claim at the time. Later on, it was discovered the Shattered-Lands was a lot larger than initially expected, because of this, the plan had to get delayed to make more strategies to handle the rest of the territory. On October 12 2023, the invasion was officially cancelled after the Shattered-Lands offered to end the war and effectively dissolve.

Peace settlement between Dingleville and Shattered-Lands

On October 12 2023, the Shattered-Lands president Ryan Long stated he wanted this conflict to end. So Dingleville officially agreed to want to end the war, stating that it is "always best to not have beef with people in general", as stated by the Dinglese emperor, Adrian Morvant.

Annexation of Ligmabutthole

In the same meeting as the Dinglese-Shattered-Lands peace settlement, Ligmabutthole was annexed into the Shattered-Lands officially dissolving Testicular Distortion as a military alliance.

Dissolution of Shattered-Lands

On 14 October, the Shattered-Lands officially dissolved alongside it's controlling organization, the Shattered Souls, however one of the Shattered-Lands' puppet states, Suckmaasshole continued to exist for several more days afterwards, with many attempts from the Polarian Alliance to infiltrate and dissolve it in the process.

End of the war

On 30 October 2023, the day before Halloween, Suckmaasshole officially dissolved due to secretive convincing from the other side. This ended the long lasting North Texas Micronational War.
