Subject of my article is... A political party for the Republic of Neeburm

The Neeburmian Conservative Party is a right-wing political party in the Republic of Neeburm that wants to establish a more powerful central government and bring more power to the Prime Minister of Neeburm. It was founded by Carter Richardson, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Neeburm, on January 31, 2024, during the January polls. Carter Richardson wanted to give more power to the Prime Minister, feeling that they were controlled too much by the Grand Council.

Leadership

The current party leader of the Party is Carter Richardson, the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Jardine Administration.

History

Carter Richardson was a key figure in the Janurary Constitution for the Republic of Neeburm. While the Constitution was being written, major political figure Corban Smith wrote the majority of the Constitution, and implemented policies that established a Grand Council of three with him in it that, according to Richardson, overshadowed the Prime Minister, as well as the Vice Minister. Prior to the January Constitution, the leader of Neeburm usually held more power. Richardson wanted to give more power to a single Prime Minister elected by the voice of the people to bring about more efficiency and, according to him, "true democracy". He also believed that members of the Grand Council, such as Corban Smith, were influencing the Prime Minister far too much and had control of the government. Carter Richardson formed one of the first political parties in Neeburm on January 31, 2024.
