The Mercantile Principality of Paterchurch, simply known as Paterchurch, is a self-declared sovereign state located inside Pembroke Dock, Wales. It was started by Samuel Frederick Monks on the 26th of October 2024. Paterchurch currently claims the entire town of Pembroke Dock, including a small portion of the neighbouring town of Neyland.
History
The Founding of Paterchurch
The Founding of Paterchurch was due to the lack of any sort of representation of Pembroke Dock on a Global Level. Pembroke Dock, during the Second World War was a vital player in the building of Sunderland Flying Boats due to the RAF Station. As well, Pembroke Dock for centuries was a key player in the building of Ships, Royal Yachts, and More.
Prince-Commodore Samuel Frederick Monks said; 'I don't want to cite any conflict, I have the purest of intentions for this Micronation and only want for the legacy of the town to be remembered Globally'.
The Prince Commodore
The title of 'Prince-Commodore' Is one that has never been used before and was created by Samuel Frederick Monks alongside the creation of Paterchurch. It embodies the Maritime aspect of the Micronation and the Royal aspect. The job of the Prince-Commodore is internal political affairs and monitoring the Navy.
The rest of the political establishments are ran by the First Lord of the Admiralty, which is a Mr. Krabs Plush.
Flag and Coat of Arms
The flag is a red background with two Martello Towers which can be found in Pembroke Dock, as well as White and Blue waves to symbolize the sea with a semi-small anchor in the middle. The coat of arms displays only one Martello tower with a anchor in the middle alongside straight White and Blue waves.
Global Outreach
Paterchurch currently has no outside reach, as they are still in their development era. But, the Prince-Commodore has expressed interest in communicating with other Micronations to ensure that his state is recognised.
Geography and National Regions
Paterchurch is divided between the Royal Dockyard and the Civil Community. They do not currently have any autonomous status and are merely geographical splits to ensure a stable state.
Government and politics
Paterchurch is a Semi-constitutional monarchy. They have a First Lord of the Admiralty who acts as a sort of Prime Minister while the Prince-Commodore has the most power within the State.
