This is a complete list of the current laws of The Republic of Urzistan, approved by His Honor, The President.
- Law I: The President can exert any power he deems necessary.
- Law II: Only the President may appoint officials in government.
- Law III: The Presidency is purely through a consensus among government officials.
- Law III, § 1: The government, meaning Congress Assembled, should come together and nominate two candidates. They then should vote, by saying I and raising their hand. If the Secretary of State deems the Yea(s) or the Nay(s) win, then so be it. If a congressperson should command a formal vote, then it is required for the Secretary of State to submit to the decision, followed by a more formal way of voting.
- Law IV: The President may be impeached if over 80% of the current government votes yes.
- Law IV, § 1: This can only be made if a list of at least 3 illegal actions are done and liable proof is presented.
- Law V: There shall be no violence among anyone, with any weapon, and there shall be no threats made. Anything anyone does that misrepresents the law, or is deemed unlawful by The President, they will be charged.
Government Terms
The Government is a unicameral congress consisting of one house, the Congress Assembled. Men & women may be appointed by The President. It is standard that they meet atleast once a month.
Government terms & such:
"Recess": When Congress Assembled is temporarily disbanded until further call by the chair.
"The Chair": The leader of an Assembly -- Usually the President. If the President is unavailable at Congress, the Vice President shall take their space. If the Vice President is unavailable, Congress Assembled is immediately adjourned until further notice.
"Adjournment": A congressperson may request adjournment and specify the time Congress Assembled should meet together again. Only by the call of The Chair may the motion be adapted. Adjournment is automatic if the chair is vacant.
"Motion": A request made by a congressperson.
"Order": Usually said in this manner: "May Congress Assembled be in Order." which is a command by the chair to the Congresspeople settle down.
Please note than any and all government officials are considered part of Congress Assembled. The President may appoint Congressmen or Congresswomen, who are still part of Congress Assembled, but please note that all other government officials are still part of the Congress.
Congress hasn't had any meetings since the establishment of it on 5 January 2023.
Government System
Congress Assembled may vote on any bill they please to. It will then add to the list of laws. The President can overturn the passing, but if Congress Assembled votes again, and the Yea(s) win, then the bill should be passed effective immediatly.
The Chair can call an Emergency Adjournment, or an Emergency Recess, if there is an active threat.
The Chair has the right to eject people from the Congress Assembled gathering, and call Order at any time necessary.
Any government official may leave at any time during an Assembly.
The Assembly's meeting-hall may vary based on different situations. It can be communicated on where Congress shall be meeting on a regular basis.
