The Illustrious Order of the Star in Antarctica is an order of chivalry established by the Ruusun Ristin Istuin via the constitution of the nation. It is awarded by the Monarch to citizens, royals, and heads of other states for service to their nation or community. It is currently active, but not utilized by the RRI as similar orders such as the Most Radiant Order of Worms and Snakes and the Royal Order of the Kanik-Krook phase out the need for an order with no meetings or function, considering the size of the micronation. The Order was founded by the constitution in October of 2022.
The name of the Order comes from the closeness of both the RRI and the micronational community to Antarctica.
Ranks
There are four ranks in the Order;
Knight Companion, which is awarded to high-ranking and impactful citizens and royalty of the RRI
Knight, which is awarded to other heads of state or diplomats that work with the RRI
Officer is awarded to citizens who have a significant impact on their community or the RRI.
Member is awarded to citizens and royals who impact positively upon the RRI or related communities
