the Free Province of Ikbinune is a province of the Pinangese Republic located in North America, completely surrounded by the American state of Alabama.

    History

    Establishment

For a long time, the Pinangese Republic was contained entirely within the confines of the continent of Europe. While the non-european population of Pinang remained low for much of its early history, around 2021 the non-european population--in particular persons of American origin-- exploded. These groups of people would remain without provincial representation well into Pinang's fifth year. However, in March of 2023 upon the urging of Pinangese politicians Esty Carpentieri and Tobey Wyles, a committee to establish a province to be located within America was created--spearheaded by Alabama native May Junkin. This committee, the American Provincial Organization Committee, gathered on the 18th of March. Within the first few days, a name and territory were chosen. The name, Ikbinune, is Choctaw for "Gravel-built hill", representing the land the province was to sit upon.

On the 20th of March the Committee changed its name to the Ikbinunean Provincial Organization Committee.
